Raquel Rimbach the editor of "Pollution Equipment News interviewed Michael Hainsworth, President and CEO of AEREON to discussed the recent acquisition of select assets of Abutec. According to Mr. Hainsworth the assets that were acquired were the Abutec brand, burner technology and Quad O Certified Enclosed Combustors that are used across the U.S. Shale Basins. Manufacturing of the Abutec units will continue to be done in Soddy Daisy, Tenn 15 mins from Chattanooga. Abutec currently has approximately 3000 units installed according to Mr. Hainsworth. The target industries for this technology are upstream and midstream oil & gas processing, bio-gas and wastewater plants, landfills,and food processing including breweries.

Abutec burner technology complies with EPA regulatory standards (Quad O), producing up to 99.9+ percent destruction and removal efficiency of harmful emissions. In addition to the standard Quad O Certified Enclosed Combustors line which includes the ABUTEC 20 and ABUTEC 100 models, the company also provides Quad O compliant burners (ABUTEC 200), elevated flares, and custom enclosed combustion products.

Abutec will be fully integrated into AEREON’s global business infrastructure, and former Abutec customers retain the ability to immediately place orders and receive service for the Abutec products directly with AEREON.

AEREON was formed in 2012 when Flare Industries LLC acquired Jordan Technologies. Through the initial merger of these brands, AEREON offers a product line of engineered custom and standard flare systems, enclosed combustion systems, ignition systems and vapor recovery units.
