International Organization for
Standardization Standard 14644-6 Cleanrooms and controlled
environments Part 6: Vocabulary is now available through the
Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technology (IEST). This
document is an indispensable resource for anyone operating a
cleanroom or controlled environment.
ISO 14644-6 is an up-to-date, international
dictionary of all cleanroom terms and definitions used in the ISO
14644 Cleanrooms and controlled environments and the 14698
Biocontamination series. Terms in this Standard were agreed upon on
a global basis and are being using in international contracts. Each
definition is followed by the Standard designation(s) and section(s)
in which it is used. An index makes finding a particular definition
