Gas Calibration
Company Moves Forward in a Revolutionary Way. |
|
|
Founded
in 1996, Gasco Affiliates, LLC is a provider of precision calibration gas,
equipment and accessories. The company employs proprietary procedures to create
the highest quality grade of pure gases, gas mixtures-single gas, complex
four-gas and highly reactive gas mixtures-cylinders and accessories for a wide
range of applications.
Their latest innovation includes the 44L Cylinder with refillable option. The
new cylinder holds 29% more than the industry standard 34 liter cylinder, but it
has the same footprint as the traditional 34 liter cylinder. This is made
possible through special cylinder construction. The gas is held at 825 psi
rather than 500 psi in the standard 34 liter cylinder.
Gasco products meet or exceed all safety equipment industry specifications and
are available exclusively through safety distributors worldwide.
Gasco has just expanded their plant in Florida by 4100 sq ft. The air
conditioned space houses their new quality and shipping departments. Customized
labels with an average turn around of 3 day on all mixes are available.

agency’s chemical safety inspections process |
|
|
The U.S. EPA has released interim guidance
that would provide greater transparency in the agency’s chemical safety
inspections process. Under the interim guidance, EPA inspectors will offer
employees and employee representatives the opportunity to participate in
chemical safety inspections. In addition, EPA will request that state and local
agencies adopt similar procedures under the Risk Management Program. EPA
believes that close involvement of employees and employee representatives in
inspections is effective and better protects workers and the adjacent
communities.
